Strange discoveries at medieval Cardiff burial site deepen mystery
A new discovery at a medieval cemetery unearthed near Cardiff Airport in 2024 has left archaeologists puzzled, deepening the mystery surrounding the site. The most recent evidence suggests that almost all the skeletons belonged to women who used to engage in heavy manual work due to their bones showing signs of wear and tear. However, the team behind the discovery has also noticed indications of wealth and higher status.
